Display/Stretch Polyester

The best-selling 260gsm Display / Stretch Polyester

Description

The fabric that makes exhibitions look expensive

Display/Stretch Polyester is the textile behind modern exhibition and retail graphics: a 260gsm polyester, dye-sublimation printed so the ink is heat-fixed into the fabric itself rather than sitting on top — which is what makes it scuff-resistant, washable, and vivid from every angle. M1/B1 fire-rated for UK and European venue requirements, printed up to approximately 3000mm wide depending on your chosen finish, and equally at home stretched into an SEG frame, dressing a display stand or covering a table. A real person checks your artwork before it's printed, and every order helps restore forests through our Print A Tree project.

Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a print-ready CMYK PDF with fonts outlined. Two fabric-specific pointers: resolution requirements scale with print size on large-format work, so if your graphic is heading towards the 3-metre end, send the file over and we'll confirm it holds up; and if your graphic is being stretched into an SEG or display frame, tell us the frame system when you order — the finished size and silicone edging need to match it exactly. Not sure what finish your frame takes? Ask, and we'll spec it with you.

Frequently asked questions

What is dye-sublimation printing?
A process that uses special inks and a post-print heating stage to fix the ink into the fabric fibres themselves, rather than laying it on the surface. The result is vibrant colour that won't crack or peel, resists scuffing, and survives machine washing.
What is SEG?
Silicone Edge Graphics — fabric prints finished with a thin silicone strip sewn around the edge, which tucks into a slim channel in an aluminium frame. The fabric pulls drum-tight for a frameless, seamless look, and swapping graphics takes minutes. It's become the standard for premium exhibition and retail displays.
Is display polyester fire rated?
Yes — M1/B1 rated, complying with UK and European fire safety standards. That matters because exhibition venues and shopping centres routinely require certified display materials before you're allowed to install.
How wide can the graphic be?
Up to approximately 3000mm finished width, depending on the finish you choose, printed from a 3200mm roll — wide enough for most exhibition walls and frames in a single seamless piece.
Can the fabric be washed?
Yes — because the ink is heat-fixed into the fibres, the fabric is washable, so exhibition dust and event wear don't retire the graphic between outings.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes — it's suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For permanently outdoor, wind-exposed sites, talk to us about the application first; fabric behaves differently to banner PVC in weather, and we'll steer you to the right material for the location.
