Economy Café Barrier

The economy outdoor barrier with a black finish and high-quality fabric graphics

Description

Branded frontage that doesn't break the fit-out budget

The Economy Café Barrier gives your outdoor seating the same job as the premium version — a printed boundary that turns pavement into branded frontage — on powder-coated black steel rather than chrome, at a friendlier price. Your design is dye-sublimation printed on high-quality Display Polyester, where many suppliers settle for lower-grade PVC. Kits assemble in minutes without tools, join at right angles through four-rail post collars, and extend one section at a time. A real person checks your artwork before it's printed, and every order helps restore forests through our Print A Tree project.

Key details

Hardware

Steel components with a powder-coated black finish, 350mm bases, and a non-slip, non-marking ring underneath to protect floors

Graphic

1360mm-wide graphic, dye-sublimation printed on Display Polyester, with a pole pocket along the top and eyelets in the bottom corners

Double-sided option

Free extra designs

No additional charge for multiple designs across your order — every graphic in the run can be different

Best for

Café and restaurant frontages, beer gardens, queue management and event zones — indoor and outdoor, assembled in minutes without tools

Economy or Deluxe?

Both barriers print your branding on the same high-quality Display Polyester and share the same expandable, four-rail system — the difference is the hardware and the fixing. The Economy uses powder-coated black steel, a fixed 1360mm graphic width, and secures the graphic with a top pole pocket, a cross bar and spring clips into corner eyelets — everything you need for smart, branded frontage at the keenest price. The Deluxe steps up to stainless steel with a chrome finish, adds a 1860mm width option, and holds the graphic in pole pockets top and bottom for the cleanest possible finish. If budget leads, choose Economy; if the frontage is your shopfront's first impression, the Deluxe's chrome earns its place.

Every order plants trees

Powder-coated steel built to last, with a machine-washable graphic you replace on its own when the branding changes — not the whole barrier. Through our Print A Tree project with Ecologi, every Printlogik order funds verified reforestation on top. Free, automatic, every time. See the forest grow →

Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK with fonts outlined, using the 1360mm template and keeping key content clear of the pole pocket along the top and the eyelet areas in the bottom corners. Barrier graphics are read at walking pace from a few metres, so bold branding beats fine detail — and since extra designs cost nothing, vary the message along the run: brand on one section, offer on the next. Our studio will happily lay the set out for you.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the Economy and Deluxe café barriers?
Same printed graphic quality and the same expandable system, different hardware: the Economy uses powder-coated black steel with a fixed 1360mm width and a pole-pocket-and-spring-clip fixing, while the Deluxe uses chrome-finished stainless steel, offers a 1860mm width, and holds the graphic in pole pockets top and bottom. Economy for value; Deluxe for a premium shopfront look.
What's included in an Economy kit?
A full kit has two bases, two vertical posts, one horizontal cross bar, two spring clips and your bespoke-printed graphic. An extension kit has one base, one post, one bar, two spring clips and a graphic, and joins onto an existing barrier. Everything assembles in minutes without tools.
Should I choose single or double-sided?
If the barrier is seen from both sides — pavement seating usually is — choose double-sided: a blockout lining prevents light show-through, and the seamless, unstitched finish uses the full print area. Single-sided suits barriers backing onto a wall or window. There's no extra charge for a different design on each side.
What material is the graphic printed on?
High-quality Display Polyester, dye-sublimation printed for vibrant, detailed colour — where many suppliers use lower-grade PVC banner material for café barriers. The heat-fixed inks make the graphic washable too.
Can café barriers stay outside in all weather?
They're built for indoor and outdoor use, but take graphics down in adverse weather — particularly winds above Beaufort Scale 4 (13–18mph), when heavy rain and gusts add weight and strain to the finishing and fittings. Over time, UV fades fabric and air pollution can grey white areas, so position thoughtfully.
How long will the graphic last, and how do I care for it?
For a regularly used barrier graphic, a realistic maximum lifespan is around a year, depending on climate and hours in use. Machine wash at 30° with no detergent, let it dry completely before storing, and bring it in during rough weather. The steel hardware lasts far longer — replacement graphics keep the same kit working.
