Why laser engraving?
Printed pens carry ink on the surface, which can wear with daily handling. Laser engraving does the opposite: it cuts precisely through the lacquer to expose the silver aluminium beneath, so the mark is part of the pen, not on top of it. The result is a refined silver-on-colour imprint that won't rub off or fade for the life of the pen — which, being a pen someone actually wants to use, is a long time. It's the finish that turns a promotional item into something that reads as a genuine gift.

Artwork made easy
Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets engraved.
You can add your company name, logo or a short message straight onto the barrel using our Online Designer. The engraving area is compact — 2 inches by 0.22 — so this is a job for bold simplicity: strong lines and clear fonts, no fine detail or small type, which the laser can't hold at this size and which lose legibility on a pen anyway. A logo has its best chance as a clean single-colour mark; up to two lines of text works well for a name and a date or role. Not sure yours will hold up? Send it over and we'll advise before engraving.
