Fabric Mesh Polyester
Fabric Mesh Polyester
Description
Mesh banner performance, without the PVC
Fabric Mesh Polyester is the PVC-free way to do wind-tolerant outdoor graphics: a 100% polyester perforated mesh that lets air pass through while keeping your print sharp and bold. At 230gsm it's noticeably lighter than PVC mesh, folds into a bag instead of rolling onto a core, and dye-sublimation printing fixes the ink into the fibres for a vibrant, scuff-resistant, washable finish. Fitted with rust-free plastic eyelets and clean double-folded hems. A real person checks your artwork before it's printed, and every order helps restore forests through our Print A Tree project.
Key details
100% polyester perforated mesh, 230gsm — lightweight to handle, durable in use, and PVC-free
The mesh structure lets wind pass through, reducing load on fixings while keeping graphics highly visible
Dye-sublimation — ink heat-fixed into the fabric for bold colour that's scuff-resistant and washable
A 3375 × 1780mm Heras banner weighs ~1.4kg in fabric mesh vs ~1.9kg in PVC — easier fitting across big jobs
Double-folded hem (50mm fold, 10mm tuck) with rust-free plastic eyelets — folds into bags or boxes for transport
Heras fence banners, scaffold and building wraps, crowd barriers, café barriers, lamp post banners — indoor and out
Why fabric mesh instead of PVC?
Three practical reasons. Handling: fabric mesh folds for packing and transport with none of the creasing, pinching or rolling-onto-a-core that PVC needs — simpler to store, ship and fit on site. Weight: at 230gsm it's lighter than PVC mesh, and that gap adds up across a multi-banner install — a large Heras banner drops from around 1.9kg in PVC to about 1.4kg in fabric mesh. Material policy: because it's 100% polyester rather than PVC, it can be the more environmentally considerate choice — which matters for organisations working to environmental targets or procurement rules that PVC products don't meet. You lose nothing in durability: the polyester construction and machine-sewn hems hold up, and the mesh still lets wind through.

Artwork made easy
Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.
The spec that matters most on this fabric: supply 50mm of bleed — considerably more than the usual few millimetres — because the material needs extra for the hems and to allow for shrinkage and movement when printing and cutting fabric. Supply a CMYK PDF with fonts outlined, and design bold: mesh and distance both favour strong, high-contrast artwork over fine detail. Send your file over and we'll confirm the bleed and setup before printing.
