Floor Vinyl

For indoor floor displays

Description

Advertising on the one surface everybody looks at

People watch where they walk — which makes the floor prime, underused advertising space. Floor Vinyl is a printed, slip-resistant film for short-term indoor graphics: wayfinding, floor advertising, retail promotions and event branding underfoot. It's R9 slip-rated to DIN 51130, needs no lamination, and applies without special skills thanks to a repositionable dot-adhesive backing. Guaranteed for up to three months of light indoor footfall. A real person checks your artwork before it's printed, and every order helps restore forests through our Print A Tree project.

Where it works

Floor Vinyl is made for smooth, hard indoor floors — ceramic tiles, marble, power-floated concrete — and short-pile carpet such as office or exhibition carpeting. It's a short-term product by design: guaranteed for up to three months of light footfall, ideal for a seasonal sale, an exhibition run or a promotional window. It isn't intended for outdoor use, heavy industrial traffic, or textured and rough floors where the adhesive can't get a clean grip. If you're unsure your floor suits it, tell us the surface and we'll advise honestly before you order.

Every order plants trees

Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a CMYK PDF at 300dpi with fonts outlined, within a maximum artwork width of 1300mm and no smaller than 200 × 200mm per piece. A standard trimmed (rectangular) finish is included; shape-cutting to a custom outline — footprints, arrows, logos, distancing markers — is available at additional cost, and it's what makes floor graphics genuinely eye-catching, so mention it when you order if you want it. Floor graphics are read from standing height and often at an angle, so keep designs bold and legible. Send your file and we'll confirm the setup.

Frequently asked questions

Is floor vinyl slippery?
No — it's R9 slip-rated to DIN 51130, achieved by printing directly onto the structured film, so it meets the recognised standard for slip resistance underfoot. That's why no lamination is needed; a laminate would compromise the anti-slip surface.
What floors can I apply it to?
Smooth hard floors — ceramic tiles, marble, power-floated concrete — and short-pile carpet like office or exhibition flooring. It's not suited to rough, textured or dusty surfaces, where the adhesive can't grip cleanly, or to outdoor use.
How long does it last?
It's designed and guaranteed for up to three months of light indoor footfall — a deliberately short-term product for campaigns, sales and events rather than permanent signage. For longer-lasting floor graphics or heavier traffic, talk to us about the right material.
Is it hard to apply?
Not at all — the dot-shaped adhesive lets you position, lift and reposition the graphic without a struggle, so no special skills or tools are needed. Clean and dry the floor first, then smooth it down from one edge to avoid trapping air.
Can it be cut to shape?
Yes — a standard trimmed rectangular finish is included, and custom shape-cutting is available at additional cost for footprints, arrows, circles, logos or distancing markers. Shaped graphics stand out far more than rectangles on a floor.
What's the maximum size?
Up to 1300mm artwork width from a 1372mm roll, with a minimum piece size of 200 × 200mm. Larger floor areas are covered by tiling multiple pieces together — tell us the area and we'll work out the layout.
