Foamex Strut Cards are the neat freestanding sign for a counter, table or shelf — a rigid 3mm foamboard panel with two sturdy feet that stand it up anywhere, no fixings, no frame. Waterproof and wipe-clean, so they shrug off a splashed bar or a humid washroom, and light enough to move and swap as your message changes. Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a CMYK PDF at 300dpi with 3mm bleed and fonts outlined, at A4 or A3 in your chosen orientation. Strut cards are read at close range on a counter, so they take more detail than a distance sign — but a clear headline and a single call to action still work hardest. If the card will live somewhere it gets handled or splashed, the optional scratch-resistant varnish is worth adding — it keeps the print looking sharp far longer in a busy bar or washroom. How does a strut card stand up? ›
Two sturdy feet are supplied that slot onto the board and hold it upright on any flat surface — no frame, stand or fixing needed. It's freestanding straight out of the box.
Can I make it double-sided? ›
The cards print single-sided, but you can place two back-to-back in the same feet for a double-sided display that reads from both directions — handy on a central counter or bar where customers approach from either side.
Are they waterproof? ›
Yes — Foamex is fully waterproof and wipes clean with a damp cloth, which is why strut cards suit bars, washrooms, gyms and anywhere near sinks or splashes. Add the scratch-resistant varnish if it'll be handled a lot.
What sizes and orientations are available? ›
A4 or A3, each in portrait or landscape. A4 suits a countertop or table; A3 gives more presence on a shelf edge or a busier space. All are single-sided and fully customisable with your own design.
What is the varnish finish for? ›
It's an optional scratch-resistant coating that protects the print from scuffs and wear — worth adding for cards that get picked up, wiped down often, or live in high-traffic spots, so the message stays crisp for longer.
