The one spec to design around: leave a quiet border of at least 10mm — ideally 25mm — around the edge, because the snap-frame clips cover that area. The 25-litre base fills with sand or water — empty it's just 4.33kg to wheel out, filled it's heavy enough to hold the sign steady on a windy pavement. Sand grips harder and won't freeze in winter; water is quicker to fill and empty.

It's built for it — the frame is spring-mounted so it sways with gusts rather than fighting them, and withstands winds up to about 18mph on a properly filled base. In stronger conditions, bring it inside, as you would any pavement sign.

How do I change the poster? ›
