Which mesh — PVC or PVC-free?

Both fit the same panels and both let wind through; the choice is material policy. Mesh PVC is the long-standing, hardwearing standard for site and event fencing. AirMesh Polyester is the PVC-free alternative — lighter, and the right choice where a site or event has environmental targets or procurement rules that exclude PVC, which is increasingly common on public and large commercial projects. Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Design to the 3375 × 1780mm panel size and supply a CMYK PDF with fonts outlined. These are read from across a road or a crowd, so go bold — one strong message and a large logo beat fine detail, which the mesh structure and viewing distance both soften. Choose square or 130mm angled corners to match your panels, and keep key content clear of the corners and edges where the bungee ties secure the banner. What size are Heras fencing banners? ›
3375 × 1780mm as standard, sized to sit just inside the frame of a standard 3.5m × 2m Heras panel and secured with bungee ball ties. Non-standard sizes can be made to order — tell us your panel or opening and we'll set it up.
Why are they printed on mesh? ›
Because a solid banner on a fence acts like a sail and can pull panels over in wind. The mesh lets roughly 25% of the wind pass through while keeping the graphic clearly visible, which is why mesh is the standard for fence-mounted banners outdoors.
Can I put a banner on both sides of a panel? ›
Yes — two banners fit a panel, front and back. Bear in mind there'll be some show-through of one graphic to the other because the material is mesh, so bold, high-contrast designs work best when doubling up.
Can one banner cover several panels? ›
Yes — we can produce a single continuous graphic spanning multiple panels, generally up to around 30m wide. Long banners are usually printed in sections and welded together into one piece. Send us the total run and we'll advise on the best way to produce it.
Which corner type do I need? ›
Square corners suit standard flat-top panels; the 130mm angled corner works best with round-top Heras panels, following the curve so the banner sits neatly. If you're not sure which your panels are, tell us and we'll advise.
Do they meet event and site fire regulations? ›
They're M1/B1 fire-rated to UK and European standards, which is the certification most construction sites, festivals and venues require before you can install. If your site needs documentation, let us know and we'll help.
