Low Profile Roller Banner

The low-profile unit with wide options

Description

The wide banner that still packs down slim

Most roller banners top out around a metre wide. The Oriental goes to 2000mm — a genuine wide-format backdrop from a single low-profile unit just 185mm deep. The graphic pulls up from the front for full floor-to-rail visibility, so there's no dead strip at the base, and it's printed on 400gsm anti-curl, anti-scuff, anti-glare SoFlat. Adjustable feet level it on any floor, and twin hybrid telescopic poles with a quality snap rail hold it steady. A real person checks your artwork before it's printed, and every order helps restore forests through our Print A Tree project.

How wide do you need to go?

The Oriental spans a range most banner stands can't. The 850 and 1000mm widths match a standard roller banner, for a single-panel message. The 1500 and 2000mm widths are where it earns its name — wide enough for a proper backdrop behind a desk or stage, a step-and-repeat photo wall, or a panoramic design that a narrow banner would crop. If you're covering a wide space, one Oriental 2000 does the job of two standard banners side by side, with no join down the middle.

Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a CMYK PDF at your chosen width × 2260mm with fonts outlined. The cassette trap applies: the bottom 150mm of the graphic feeds into the base and stays hidden, so 2110mm is visible — keep logos, text and contact details out of that bottom strip. On the wide sizes especially, remember these are viewed as a whole backdrop, so balance your layout across the full width rather than crowding the centre. Send your file and we'll confirm the fit before printing.

Frequently asked questions

How wide can this banner go?
Up to 2000mm of visible graphic in a single piece, with 1500mm, 1000mm and 850mm options too. The wide sizes make it a true backdrop stand rather than a single-message banner — one unit covers a space that would otherwise need two standard banners joined together.
What does "floor-to-rail visibility" mean?
The graphic pulls up from the front of the unit rather than the back, so your design shows all the way down to floor level with no gap at the base. It means your artwork is seen in full, which matters most on backdrop and photo-wall uses where the whole area is on camera.
Is it stable on uneven floors?
Yes — adjustable feet let you level the unit on uneven surfaces, and at 185mm deep the low-profile base stays discreet while keeping the banner steady. The twin telescopic poles and snap rail hold the graphic taut and upright.
Why does my artwork need to be 2260mm tall?
The lower 150mm anchors inside the base and stays hidden — needed for the mechanism, but nothing important should sit there. Design to the full 2260mm and keep key content in the visible 2110mm.
Can I use it as a photo backdrop?
Yes — the wide 1500 and 2000mm sizes with floor-to-rail visibility make excellent step-and-repeat backdrops for events, press walls and photo opportunities, where a logo pattern needs to fill the whole frame behind people.
How is this different from a standard roller banner?
A standard roller banner is around 850–1000mm wide for a single message; the Oriental adds 1500 and 2000mm wide-format options and a low-profile, floor-to-rail design built for backdrops. For one banner by a doorway, a standard unit is fine; for a wide feature wall, this is the one.
