Outdoor Water-Base Roller Banner

Blizzard Outdoor Roller Banner - The Ultimate Outdoor Marketing Tool

Description

Outdoor branding for ground you can't peg into

Most outdoor banner stands need pegs — which is no help on a forecourt, car park or paved pitch. The Blizzard solves that with a base you fill with water on site: no pegs, no drilling, just ballast where you need it and an empty 3.6kg unit to carry home. Water-resistant and UV-protected so colour holds up outdoors, it takes about six minutes for one person to set up and packs into its own carry case. A real person checks your artwork before it's printed, and every order helps restore forests through our Print A Tree project.

Water base or ground pegs?

We do two outdoor banner stands, and the ground decides which you need. The Blizzard — this one — ballasts with a water-filled base, so it stands on hard surfaces where nothing can be pegged in: forecourts, car parks, paved pitches. It's rated to Beaufort 4 (13–18mph). Our pegged outdoor banner anchors into soft ground and holds a higher wind rating as a result, so it's the choice on grass and open sites where the weather can turn. Hard standing, choose the water base; grass with wind about, choose pegs.

Every order plants trees

Ballast that's just water, emptied and refilled wherever you go — nothing to dispose of. Through our Print A Tree project with Ecologi, every Printlogik order funds verified reforestation on top. Free, automatic, every time. See the forest grow →

Artwork made easy

Every order includes a free artwork check by a real person — you don't need to ask. If we spot a problem, we'll contact you before anything gets printed.

Supply a CMYK PDF at 800 × 2000mm with fonts outlined. Unlike our indoor cassette banners, this graphic is tensioned by four eyelets rather than rolling into a base, so nothing is hidden — but do keep logos and text clear of the eyelet positions in the corners, where the fixings sit. It'll be read outdoors and often at a distance, so go bold with one clear message. Send your file and we'll confirm the setup before printing.

Frequently asked questions

How does the water base work?
The base is a hollow reservoir you fill with water on site to weigh the unit down, then empty before packing up. It means you carry a light 3.6kg unit and add the ballast when you arrive — and you can use it on surfaces where pegs are impossible, like tarmac, paving or an indoor hard floor.
How much wind can it handle?
It's rated to Beaufort Scale 4 — around 13–18mph (21–29kph) — with the base filled. Above that, take it down: no banner stand is genuinely windproof, and a stand that goes over can damage the graphic and anything near it. If you're on grass and expecting stronger winds, our pegged outdoor banner anchors into the ground for a higher rating.
How long does it take to set up?
About six minutes, and one person can manage it alone — longer than an indoor pull-up because you're filling the base, but still quick for an outdoor unit. Packing away is much the same in reverse, emptying the water before it goes in the carry case.
Will the graphic survive the weather?
It's water-resistant and UV-protected, so rain won't ruin it and sunlight won't fade it quickly — that's what separates it from an indoor banner taken outside. Bring it in when you're not using it and it'll last a great deal longer.
Can I use it indoors too?
Yes — the water base works just as well on an indoor floor, though for purely indoor use a standard pull-up banner is lighter, cheaper and sets up in seconds. This one earns its keep when you need the same stand to work outside as well.
What size is the graphic?
800 × 2000mm, held by four eyelets, on a unit standing 2100mm tall and 800mm wide. Because the graphic isn't wound into a cassette, the full 2000mm height is visible.
